I have a PhD in cognitive science and linguistics from Indiana University. My research interests include speech recognition and synthesis, music cognition, dynamic systems, robotics, temporal pattern learning by artificial neural network, human-machine interaction, rhythm, language, and more. Prosody in speech synthesis and communication through sound and speech are at the heart of it.
