Here is its new arm with binocular vision for shared attention and interaction studies
Here is a picture of the new vocal tract system (mounted on the end of a microphone stand for now). Motors actuate the tract remotely through bicycle brake cables so that noise from motors can eventually be isolated.
A quick demo of the new pneumatic sound source - manually controlled air pressure in this example.
The new system has 5 degrees of freedom controlling vocal tract shape, plus two more for lip rounding and nasalization.
