I am finishing a PhD in cognitive science and linguistics at Indiana University. My interests include speech recognition and synthesis, music cognition, dynamic systems, robotics, temporal pattern integration by artificial neural network, human-machine interaction, rhythm, language, and more. Prosody in speech synthesis and information transfer through sound and speech are at the heart of it.
